Branding for Hello Eco
I designed the logo and full visual identity for Hello Eco, a zero-waste shop committed to making sustainable living accessible within its community. The concept centered on clarity and restraint, a clean, minimal aesthetic that reflects the principles of zero waste while remaining warm and inviting.
The visual system draws from natural and recycled materials. I selected a palette that complements kraft paper and organic textures, incorporating soft pastel tones and rounded forms to communicate approachability. Since zero waste was still an emerging concept locally, the branding was intentionally designed to feel engaging rather than didactic, encouraging participation through simplicity and clarity.
Sustainability extended beyond the visual language into practical implementation. The shop eliminated paper receipts in favor of digital copies, printed labels on recycled stock, issued digital gift certificates, and repurposed surplus canvas into branded tote bags. The entire interior was furnished with reclaimed materials, reinforcing the integrity of the brand at every touchpoint.
As the founders expanded into eco-consulting, launching Hello Eco Consulting, I developed a differentiated yet connected identity. While the retail branch maintains a warm and community-oriented tone, the consulting division required a more structured and business-focused aesthetic. Through a refined color palette and more formal visual language, I established a professional identity that supports their growth into workshops, sustainable production initiatives, and institutional consulting, all while preserving the brand’s core values of education and environmental responsibility.
